Documentary Film Program
This section is dedicated to the projects I have worked on while in the Documentary Film Program (DFP) at Wake Forest University. These projects originated from the classes I have taken in the DFP and include various topics and styles.
Projects
Project 1: Observational Scene Edit
|Advanced Story Editing|
Two to three hours of footage were given to us from a short film about Filipino Street art. We were tasked with constructing a 2:30-4:00 minute scene from the footage.

As an initial project, I loved working with the footage and learning about the story. The story covers students trying to find walls to paint on for their final art projects.
Project 2: Compilation Films
|Advanced Story Editing|
Create a 2:30 - 5:00 minute film using only archival footage, photos, or audio.

This was a four-week project that took research and editing to get this video where I felt it was at a good place. This short looks at the 166 days between Iraq's invasion of Kuwait and the start of Operation Desert Storm during Gulf War I.

The video has been polished up after receiving feedback from my professor, and now extends past the 5:00 minute mark
Project 3: Audio Project
|Advanced Story Editing|
Create a 3:00 - 5:00 minute audio story through the use of recorded sound, voices, etc. As well as sounds from online. "Think about the power of place and all of the textures within it"
​In this project, I decided to interview, Bell Gambino, who is a member of the Wake Forest Boxing Club - a club that I am a part of as well. In this project, Bell talks about her experiences in the club, what a typical practice looks like, and what having a coach who is a woman means to her. I chose this subject so that more people can be exposed to this great sport.
Project 4: Observational Short
|Cinematography & Sounds + Advanced Story Editing|
Work in Groups to plan, shoot, and edit a story centered around an observational topic or event.

I worked on this project with Isaac Wienberg to create Dailing Scotty: the story of a "scammer". Isaac has a friend with Scotty Pippen's old cell phone number. This has resulted in him receiving tons of calls and texts from people who believe he is Scotty Pippen. This film tells the story of his experiences.
Sports: Soccer Short

Working with the Soccer Media Coordinator, I edited a short video of the Wake Forest Women's Soccer Practice during their bye week.

The volleyball media coordinator asked me to make a short video footage from a game I had shot with him.
